Since entering Montana and the Dakotas, I have never seen so many machines decorating fields–construction equipment, farm implements, cars, tractors and even fire trucks. Other places collect old machines, but this area of the country raises the bar. The Mercury Montego at our campground appears to be from the ’68-’71 timeframe.
I took this photograph today near Hill City, South Dakota. I used a Nikon Z5 camera using a NIKKOR Z 100-400mm ƒ/4.5-5.6 VR S lens (1/160 sec at ƒ/16, ISO 500, 150mm). I edited and cropped the image in Adobe Lightroom. #monochromemonday
