We took a drive through the mountains south of us this weekend to visit the historical community of Prescott. We left early so that we could see the sunrise. The highlight of the trip was the drive through the mountains where I took this photograph. The road took us between Hickey Mountain at 7579 feet and Mingus Mountain towering at 7727 ft.
I took this photograph last weekend at the scenic lookout south of Jerome, Arizona on Highway 89A. I used a Nikon Z5 camera using a NIKKOR Z 24-70mm ƒ/2.8 S lens (1/800 sec at ƒ/7.1, ISO 100, 58mm). I edited the image in Adobe Lightroom.
